What we collect

Account information: when you create an account we collect your email address, a username, and a password (stored as a secure hash by our authentication provider).

Usage data: basic product activity such as picks viewed tied to your account.

Device push tokens: if you install our iOS app and allow notifications, we store the device token Apple provides so we can send you notifications (for example, when new predictions go live). This token identifies your device for push delivery only.

Payment status: subscriptions are processed by our payment partner (Whop). We receive your subscription status and the email used at checkout — we never see or store your card details.

What we do NOT do

We do not sell your personal information.

We do not share your information with advertisers or data brokers.

We do not process real-money wagers.

How we use your information

To operate the product: your account and subscription access.

To send notifications you opt into: email updates (unsubscribe anytime via the link in each email) and app push notifications (disable anytime in iOS Settings).

To keep the service safe: preventing abuse and securing accounts.

Where your data lives

Our infrastructure runs on Supabase (database and authentication) and Vercel (hosting). Emails are delivered via Resend. Subscriptions are managed by Whop. Each provider processes data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.

Your choices

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account data at any time — email us and we'll handle it within 30 days.

You can turn off push notifications in iOS Settings at any time.

You can unsubscribe from emails with one click in any message we send.

Age requirement

Shmoo is intended for adults 21+ (19+ in Ontario, or the legal gambling age where you live). We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under that age.
